Heath Vogel

I’m looking forward to connecting with families and encouraging them in their challenging, yet fulfilling vocation of introducing their precious children into a lifelong relationship with Jesus.

Heath joined the CtR staff in the Summer of 2023 as Coordinator of Sacraments. He has previously worked as Senior Pastor for the Christian Church (Church of Christ) denomination in the Ozarks, New Orleans area and as a Student Pastor in Houston. He was ordained in that denomination in 2000 and became Catholic in 2015.

Originally from the Ozarks in Missouri, Heath has lived around the globe as his parents served as missionaries to Liberia, West Africa.  Heath holds a bachelor's degree in Christian Ministry from St. Louis Christian College.

Heath, his wife, and their five children participated in RCIA at CtR and have been active in the parish ever since, serving in ministries like the Knights of Columbus and ACTS Retreats.
