Vacation Bible School

Many thanks to all who made this year's VBS possible. It takes many hands to make this event possible for our children. Thank you for helping us serve as crew leaders, stations leaders, core team members, costume designers, and of course the VBS Director, Linda Watso, for making all of this come together. 

Thank you to all our parents and families for trusting us with your children and for giving us all the opportunity to serve. We are looking forward to seeing all of you next year when we learn how Jesus' power pulls us through life.  Below is a sneak peek into VBS 2020!

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun-filled, action-packed week where we learn about God and how we can count on Him in good times and bad. We will also learn about saints that relate back to the Bible point for each day. Come have fun with us for either the morning (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) or the evening (5:30 - 8:30 p.m.) session. The evening session also offers the opportunity to purchase an evening meal each day.

Adult leaders are needed to facilitate group songs, games, snacks, Bible study, skits, decorating, and support for planning and organizing. Training for all new adult volunteers is mandatory.

Teens entering 8th grade or higher can serve as crew leaders for the children but must attend required formation training. Children of adult volunteers will not be charged the $30 fee, only a $10 T-shirt fee per child attending. 

Be sure to complete registration forms for your child/children to guarantee placement. All volunteers 18 or older must be Safe Environment trained no later than June 3rd. 

Please note that no children under the age of 3 will be allowed in the classrooms. Noah’s Place, the CtR Nursery, will be provided for those volunteers who have children under 3 years old.

Preschool: age 3 (must be potty trained), age 4 and entering Kindergarten in fall 2020
Elementary: children entering 1st grade through entering 5th grade in fall 2020
